Rassam sat on the edge, farthest from the crackling campfires, his rough-hewn face half-lit in the flickering glow. His thick, dark hair had grown wild but framed his strong jaw, giving him a feral, untamed aura even in captivity.<\/p>\n

A guard kicked him, tossing a stale piece of bread onto the sand near his feet. He relented, eating silently while his callused fingers fiddled with the hidden object strapped inside his belt. It had taken his captors weeks to even notice the buckle\u2019s strange mosaic design, assuming it was ornamental rather than pivotal\u2014a dangerous mistake. This was no mere accessory; it was the Compass of Eternis, a relic steeped in legend, rumored to grant its wielder sight beyond time and space.<\/p>\n

It was here the Compass gave its final hum before its light dimmed entirely, as though the artifact had fulfilled its purpose.<\/p>\n

Rassam stepped forward into this sacred space, surrounded by ancient carvings whispering tales of civilizations long gone. He tightened his crimson boots, straightened his olive tunic, and gazed back toward the horizon. The screams of his pursuers faded into nothingness.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou didn\u2019t break me,\u201d he whispered, his voice resolute, before turning to face the light. It wasn\u2019t freedom that called to him; it was something greater\u2014a destiny yet unwritten.<\/p>\n
