A crime comedy that became a worldwide hit is set to return to Netflix soon, after fans of the dark series have been waiting for more than a year and a half. The second season of Murder Mindfully<\/em> will debut on the streaming service in three days.<\/p>\n

In March 2026, Netflix’s official website published the first images from Murder Mindfully’s<\/em> upcoming second season. The article that contained those images revealed that the series is set to finally return on May 28, 2026<\/a>. The German show that English-speaking viewers can watch with dubbed audio or subtitles is also known as Achtsam Morden<\/em> in some international markets.<\/p>\n

An acclaimed series, Murder Mindfully<\/em> holds a 100% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> based on reviews from professional critics. More importantly, the show has earned an 89% Popcornmeter score from viewers.<\/p>\n

Based on a novel by Karsten Dusse<\/strong>, Murder Mindfully<\/em> is a dark comedy that focuses on a burned-out defense attorney who is pushed to find a better work-life balance. After attending mindfulness classes, he finds the teachings work better than expected and takes ruthless steps to eliminate anything that threatens his new life. After murdering a crime boss who was disrupting his new lifestyle, he suddenly finds himself taking on the mafia while still trying to resist stress. The show’s cast includes Tom Schilling<\/strong>, Emily Cox<\/strong>, and Peter Jordan<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n

The show’s original season premiered on October\u00a031,\u00a02024, and quickly became a hit. According to a What’s on Netflix <\/em>article, it entered Netflix’s TV top 10 charts in 66 different countries<\/a>. It also hit No. 1 on the Global Non-English Top 10 and accumulated 44 million hours watched in less than two months. Thanks to that impressive level of success, Netflix announced it had renewed Murder Mindfully<\/em> on December 17, 2024<\/a>. Despite that speedy renewal, fans have been waiting for more than a year and a half to see more of the popular series.<\/p>\n
