He also <a data-in-app-uri=\"thescore:\/\/\/news\/3547014\" href=\"https:\/\/thescore.com\/news\/3547014\">reportedly<\/a> received interest from Louisville, St. John&#8217;s, and Arizona throughout the transfer process. <\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old is coming off a standout 2025-26 campaign in which he averaged 16.9 points per game while shooting a nation-high 48.7% from the 3-point line. His 3.7 treys made per contest ranked fifth in all of college basketball, and he set a Cyclones single-season record with 136 makes from deep.<\/p>\n<div class=\"the-score-article-ad-unit\"><\/div>\n<p>Momcilovic received a second-team All-Big 12 nomination last season as a junior. The 6-foot-8 sharpshooter dropped 20 points in a Round of 32 victory over Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament to help Iowa State reach the Sweet 16.<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky lost its top five scorers from last year to either the transfer portal or graduation. Momcilovic will join a Wildcats squad that includes transfer guards <a data-in-app-uri=\"thescore:\/\/\/ncaab\/players\/162866\" href=\"https:\/\/thescore.com\/ncaab\/players\/162866\">Zoom Diallo<\/a> and <a data-in-app-uri=\"thescore:\/\/\/ncaab\/players\/172415\" href=\"https:\/\/thescore.com\/ncaab\/players\/172415\">Alex Wilkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Pope&#8217;s squad is looking to rebound after a disappointing season marred by injuries.
