Bears<\/a> quarterback Caleb Williams<\/a> has a new Chicago food obsession: tavern-style pizza.<\/p>\n

He told \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast hosts Jason and Travis Kelce about trying the square-cut pizza with the cracker-thin crust on Wednesday, shouting out Zarella in River North.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly,\u201d he said, \u201cthe best pizza I\u2019ve had in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kelces asked Williams whether he keeps up with the members of his draft class \u2014 the Commanders\u2019 Jayden Daniels, the Patriots\u2019 Drake Maye, the Falcons\u2019 Michael Penix, the Vikings\u2019 J.J. McCarthy and the Broncos\u2019 Bo Nix.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe gotta play vs. each other at some point \u2026\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s not too much communication going on.\u201d<\/p>\n

They follow each other on social media, Williams said, but check in just occasionally. The Bears play the Vikings, Falcons and Patriots this year, all in the first half of the season. Williams noted that the Bears have the hardest schedule in the NFL, in terms of last year\u2019s opponent winning percentage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited,\u201d he said. \u201cWe don\u2019t back down from no challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams joked about Johnson taking off his shirt after beating the Eagles, saying he bulked up in the weight room beforehand, talked about how competitive swimming helped him as a kid.<\/p>\n

The quarterback told the Kelces that returning to OTAs was easier this year than last because Ben Johnson\u2019s offense was no longer brand new.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a lot better coming back and you know the plays and have an idea of the plays,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
