Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer<\/a> chatted with \u201cExtra\u2019s\u201d Terri Seymour about their new action-comedy series \u201cRide or Die.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the show, the stars play best friends Judith (Waddingham) and Debbie (Spencer). Debbie\u2019s world is turned upside down when she finds out Judith is an international assassin!<\/p>\n

Hannah did her own stunts and admitted at the time, she didn\u2019t know if she made the right choice.<\/p>\n

Waddingham<\/a> said, \u201cI didn’t think so at the time and for many months afterwards, but now watching it back I am a little bit walking prouder than I was yesterday. I don’t often toot my own horn like that, but I’m really glad I mangled myself senseless to get the result.”<\/p>\n

She said her injuries were \u201cnot long-lasting ones,\u201d adding, \u201cYou’re going to get the knocks and horrible knocks along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Octavia had three stunt people for her scenes! She explained, \u201cI did have action sequences, but they were not as involved as Hannah. Hannah had to do combat scenes where she had to learn choreography. I didn’t have to learn choreography at all. So it was, for me, wrapping my brain around, \u2018If I jump three feet down, am I gonna break a bone? I don’t know that I want to do that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The most unglamorous part of the shoot? Olivia said, \u201cWearing the same outfit over and over and over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hannah added, \u201cFor 5,000 days.” She said, “We would look at each other sometimes, like the gala, first we were like, ‘Oh! Oh!’ And then after a while, you’re like, ‘Oh god, you in this dress again!'”<\/p>\n

“That chiffon didn’t breathe,” Octavia laughed.<\/p>\n

Hannah also teased what\u2019s in store for \u201cTed Lasso<\/a>\u201d Season 4, dropping on Apple TV August 5.<\/p>\n

She dished, \u201cI’m really thrilled that Jason [Sudeikis] put pen to paper and that he and Brendan Hunt and the rest of our writing team were basically put back in the cupboard that I wanted them to be put in to write more beautiful stuff because this season will not disappoint in any way, shape, or form.”<\/p>\n

\u201cRide or Die\u201d premieres July 15 on Prime Video.<\/p>\n
