These only excavate native sand, gravel, soil\u00a0from longstanding operations.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palazzo says they inspect those sites\u00a0on\u00a0a monthly basis and send their staff\u2014as well as a third-party environmental consultant\u2014to oversee operations at the\u00a0sites. The <a href=\"https:\/\/goodfoodpurchasing.org\/good-food-for-michigan\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/goodfoodpurchasing.org\/good-food-for-michigan\/\">Good Food for Michigan Project<\/a>\u00a0is giving\u00a0the district more than\u00a0$460,000. Dearborn schools serve more than 3 million meals to around\u00a020,000\u00a0students at more than 30 sites.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Good Food for Michigan\u00a0Project\u00a0is a\u00a0collaboration\u00a0between the\u202fMichigan Department of Agriculture &amp; Rural Development, the\u202fCenter for Good Food Purchasing, and the\u202fMichigan State University Center for Regional Food Systems.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Detroit Riverfront hosts art exhibit<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People visiting Detroit\u2019s Riverfront and Southwest Greenway can now take in a little bit of the DIA\u2019s art collection. The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is hosting the museum\u2019s<a href=\"https:\/\/dia.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdf-maps\/38886%20DIA%20Inside%20Out%20Detroit%20Riverfront%20Conservancy%20SW%20Greenway%20Flier%20%282%29.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/dia.org\/sites\/default\/files\/pdf-maps\/38886%20DIA%20Inside%20Out%20Detroit%20Riverfront%20Conservancy%20SW%20Greenway%20Flier%20%282%29.pdf\"> Inside Out project<\/a> featuring large-scale reproductions of\u00a07 works.
