The Arizona Cardinals and veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett<\/a> agreed on a revised contract that increases his compensation for 2026, ESPN’s Adam Schefter<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

Brissett’s new one-year deal includes $15.5 million in guaranteed money and carries a maximum value of $21 million with incentives, Schefter adds. The veteran is entering the final year of his contract.<\/p>\n

Despite not having a reworked contract when camp began earlier this week, the 33-year-old elected not to hold out or hold in. Brissett practiced Thursday during the team’s first session of camp.<\/p>\n

After making 12 starts for the Cardinals last year, Brissett was looking for a pay increase that reflected a starter’s salary. He completed 64.9% of his passes for 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2025.<\/p>\n

Brissett has a career record of 20-45 with 76 touchdowns to 32 interceptions. <\/p>\n

Gardner Minshew<\/a>, Carson Beck<\/a>, and Kedon Slovis<\/a> are projected to be behind Brissett on the Cardinals’ quarterback depth chart. <\/p>\n

The Cardinals enter the upcoming season under first-year head coach Mike LaFleur. The team went 3-14 last year and hasn’t finished with a winning record since 2021.<\/p>\n
