Shortstop Colson Montgomery<\/b>, who leads the White Sox with 24 home runs, sat out their 12-3 victory Sunday against the Astros with a bruised right shin.<\/p>\n
Montgomery aggravated a previous injury when he fouled a pitch off the shin in the ninth inning Saturday but stayed in the game and singled in the Sox\u2019 only run of a 4-1 loss.<\/p>\n
Montgomery wanted to rest and treat the bruise and hopes to be ready to play when the Sox open a four-game series Monday against the Yankees.<\/p>\n

After signing with the Pirates in February, Urquidy posted an 8.53 ERA in 6\u2153 innings of relief, prompting his demotion to Triple-A. As a starter at Indianapolis, Urquidy had a 3.66 ERA in 17 starts spanning 83 innings.<\/p>\n
Doroteo had a 4.50 ERA in 16 games with the Sox\u2019 Arizona Complex League team.<\/p>\n
Sox slugger Munetaka Murakami\u2019s<\/b> parents each threw out a ceremonial first pitch. Murakami then hit two home runs and had a career-best six RBI.<\/p>\n
Murakami\u2019s father, Kimiya<\/b>, tossed his pitch to his son. His mother, Fumiyo<\/b>, threw hers to interpreter Kenzo Yagi<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Shinya Tamura<\/b>, the president of Toto, also threw a ceremonial first pitch, and the company had a product display across from Rate Field. The Murakami bobblehead was featured on Toto\u2019s U.S. website.<\/p>\n
Toto is using its relationship with Murakami to help introduce its Washlet to U.S. customers, including other major-league teams.<\/p>\n
