By the end of summer, I find myself leaning into the warmest shades I own, the ones a sunset leaves behind, because they feel like they capture how far into the season we have gotten. <\/span>Red<\/span><\/a> is always the place to begin. From there, <\/span>orange<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>golden yellows<\/span><\/a> sit close enough to give the whole thing its glow. Then a trace of <\/span>lime<\/span><\/a> or chartreuse, just enough to keep it unexpected. It is a late-summer palette I come back to every year, saturated and spirited, with the charge of pieces that have been moving through these months with me.<\/span><\/p>\n
