Former Mamelodi Sundowns winger Lesiba Nku could make a return to former club Marumo Gallants to bolster their squad for the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n
Nku is a free agent after parting ways with Sekhukhune United at the end of last season but is yet to find a new club. Reports suggest that he has been keeping fit on his own and even trained with amateur side Sunrise FC in Limpopo as he weighs up his options.<\/p>\n
Nku joined Sundowns from Marumo Gallants on a five-year deal in 2023 during former coach Rulani Mokwena’s reign. He also spent some time on loan at Stellenbosch FC after falling out of favour at Sundowns.<\/p>\n
A return to former club Gallants has been sounded out as a possible destination for the left-footed attacker, while Polokwane City are also monitoring his situation.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old came through the youth ranks of Polokwane City before moving to Gallants, where he made his breakthrough.<\/p>\n
Nku played a key role in the Gallants side that reached the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup before making the move to Sundowns.<\/p>\n
