Ads for Good

A bonopoly of neighbours. Launching soon.

Coming soon. This page describes the AFG program we are building. We are not yet accepting advertisers, hosts, or charities. Join the waitlist below and we will reach out when we are ready to onboard, expected once our regulatory review clears.

A bonopoly engine, not a monopoly.

Brands used to pay a handful of tech giants to reach you. AFG will flip that: brands will pay to appear inside other real businesses in your neighbourhood, on printed and digital displays hosted by the shops, gyms, garages, cafes, and even vehicles all around you.

Every ad will work three ways at once. The brand reaches a real person. The host business earns rent on their wall or countertop. A charity gets a slice off the top of every dollar.

Leave the world a little better than when you found it. iNthacity means in the city. Cities can be lonely. So we are building a friendlier one.

What Ads for Good will mean

Ads for Good, or AFG, will be a co-op advertising network. Brands will rent ad space on physical and digital displays that live inside other, non-competing local businesses. A florist can host an ad for an accountant. A gym can host an ad for a physio clinic. A garage can host an ad for a coffee roaster. Nobody advertises against a competitor of the host, so the arrangement always feels neighbourly.

Every ad dollar will split three ways at the point of sale: the host who provides the space, a partner charity, and iNthacity to run the network and onboard new businesses directly. No bidding wars, no surveillance auctions, no algorithmic mystery, no third-party middlemen.

How every ad dollar will split

Simple and public. Same split on every display type in the catalogue:

Host 40%

The business that gives up wall or counter space earns the biggest single cut. Passive rent on inventory you already own.

Charity 15%

One in every seven dollars goes to a partner charity of the host's choice: CHEO Foundation, Ottawa Food Bank, or one you nominate.

iNthacity 45%

Prints the displays, ships the ads, onboards new hosts + brands directly, keeps the network running, funds the platform.

Our mission and vision

Mission. Build a city on the web where you leave a little bit of good behind wherever you go. Where every scroll and every ad can fund a cause. Where nobody who meets us walks away feeling a little worse than they did before.

Vision. A friendlier commercial ecosystem where advertising strengthens the neighbourhood instead of extracting from it. Where a local business can earn rent on its own walls. Where any regular person can build a franchise-style income by connecting brands with hosts. Where a small platform in Ottawa can seed a warmer web the whole world can borrow from.

Two ways you will be able to join in

Advertise (Brand)

Reach real neighbourhoods through printed and digital displays hosted in businesses that never compete with yours.

  • Business-card racks, magazine holders, table + counter ads, wall + mural graphics, digital + smart-TV loops, floor banners, window + vehicle decals, printed placemats + napkins.
  • Flat monthly rates from about $20 per display. No bidding, no auctions.
  • Pick your city, category, and host type. We never place you next to a competitor.
  • 15% of your spend always goes to a partner charity.

Host a Display

You are sitting on a cache of gold. Walls, tables, windows, dashboards. Let AFG put a display on any of them and collect passive rent every month.

  • 40% of every ad dollar on your display goes to you.
  • Only non-competing ads: a bakery hosts a landscaper, a gym hosts a physio clinic, a garage hosts a coffee roaster.
  • Free printed placemats + napkins for restaurants and cafes, funded by advertiser Ad Tiles.
  • Cancel any time. You are always in charge of what shows.

Charity Ad Plan

Registered non-profits and community groups will get their own deeply discounted rates, plus free placements on unsold inventory. If your host business nominates a charity, we will route the 15% charity share directly to them each month.

Direct onboarding only. We do not run an affiliate or franchise-style commission program. iNthacity onboards every host and every brand directly, so there are no third-party middlemen taking a cut, and no independent contractors relying on our program for income. Simpler for everyone, and cleaner for our accounting.

Display types in the network

Every host chooses which display types they are willing to install. Some are tiny (a business-card rack on the counter). Some are big (a full wall mural). Some are digital (smart-TV loops, kiosks, tablets). All of them earn you the same 40% cut.

Business-card racks

Countertop, 8 pockets.

Magazine holders

Wall-mount, 4 pockets.

Table + desk ads

4×6" or 8.5×11" per surface.

Wall + mural

From poster to full wall.

Digital + smart TV

Rotating loops, remote-updated.

Floor stands + banners

Retractable + fixed formats.

Purell + dispenser wraps

High-touch, high-visibility.

Window + vehicle decals

Storefront glass, cars, delivery vans.

Placemats + napkins

Free to hosts. Funded by advertiser Ad Tiles ($100 each).

The daily promise

We do not want anybody who spends time on iNthacity to feel worse when they leave than they did when they arrived. That is the bar. Simple, unfashionable, and very hard.

It shapes what we build. Non-competing ads only. Physical displays that respect the space they live in. Digital ads that never track you across the web. Comment threads moderated in favour of decency. AI helpers who are warm and honest, not manipulative. When we make mistakes we own them out loud. When you do something good in the city, we try to notice.

Small things, done every day. That is how a city gets kinder.

Have questions? Meet Mia and Ian

Two of our AI concierges are always on call if you want to ask about any of this. They can walk you through the plans, help a charity apply, explain how the AFG fund is spent, or just chat.
