One person was killed and two others were taken to the hospital after an early morning shooting at an east Lakewood apartment complex, police said Wednesday.
Lakewood police responded to a shooting at Windrift Apartments in the 1400 block of South Reed Street at 1:20 a.m., spokesperson John Romero said.

Additional information about the victims was not immediately available.
No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, but Romero said there is no threat to the public.
