What are the worst fast-food restaurants in the United States? Apparently, there are three in particular that stand out.
According to crypto exchange site ChicksX, the third-worst fast-food chain happens to be Burger King. Its 6,678 locations currently have an averaged score of 3.00 on TripAdvisor. Some people complained about the food not tasting right, while others vented about the service.
“This is the worst BK I’ve ever seen in my life, the team there is very rude and poor service and it doesn’t look clean,” a TripAdvisor user wrote in regards to a Burger King in New York City. “I went there to pickup my order they spiked my number and didn’t listen once I picked up my phone and told them I will post this video online they started to listen. I won’t order from this location anymore.”
Believe it or not, McDonald’s was second to last. It had an average score of 2.99 for a plethora of reasons, including long wait times.
“The food was so nasty. It was dry. They took too long to take my order. They didn’t give me what I asked for some of the machines aren’t even working. I never received my McFlurry. I waited 20 minutes for my McFlurry. I never got it,” a TripAdvisor user wrote.
That being said, the worst fast-food chain in the United States is apparently KFC.
KFC, which reportedly has 4,095 locations in the country, has an average score of 2.89 on TripAdvisor.
“The breading on the chicken was not crunchy at all and turned out to be full of oil. The bread that is served together is a small, full portion of butter in the dough. An experience that I wouldn’t do again and I don’t recommend it to others, although I imagine it will be difficult not to try it given the advertising we are bombarded with,” a TripAdvisor user wrote in their KFC review.
Church’s Texas Chicken and Long John Silver’s were also in the bottom five, per the New York Post.
