CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The 22News Storm Team has issued a Weather Alert Tuesday, for strong to severe thunderstorms as well as a heat advisory through 8 pm Tuesday, for Central, Eastern Hampden, Hampshire, & Franklin County.
Monday evening temperatures will be in the 80s and 70s. A few scattered/isolated showers are likely Monday evening. Otherwise, we’ll have variable clouds and humid air overnight.
Tuesday’s 7 am temperatures will be in the 70s. Clouds and patchy fog will clear to a partly to mostly sunny sky by mid-morning.
The Heat Advisory continues through 8pm Tuesday.
High temperatures will be in the upper 80s and low 90s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon. Be ready for gusty wind, lightning, & flooding rain. Lingering showers are likely into the early evening hours.
Warm and humid air, along with the chance for showers, continues through the end of the week.
