A rail worker was trapped and seriously injured after train cars derailed in the BNSF Globeville Yard, the Denver Fire Department said Tuesday.

Fire officials posted about the incident Tuesday morning and said the man had severe injuries to his right leg.
The National Transportation Safety Board is also investigating the crash, federal officials said in a post on social media.
