The main draw of the US Open begins Sunday from Flushing Meadows, New York, marking the final Grand Slam of the 2025 tennis calendar.
Jannik Sinner (+105) is the betting favorite on ESPN BET and theScore Bet for the men’s tournament, while Iga Swiatek (+250) receives that honor for the women’s draw.

The story of the year has undoubtedly been the battle between Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz (+180). The stars have met in two Grand Slam finals – winning one apiece – and a pair of ATP 1000 finals – both won by Alcaraz (Sinner retired due to illness in Cincinnati). If they meet again with the US Open title on the line, it would make for an all-time rubber match.
Given how dominant both have been this year, the odds of them facing off in the final are quite high, with oddsmakers at ESPN BET and theScore Bet setting the line at +100 (50% implied probability).
While it’s still a coin flip to go the other way, one of Sinner or Alcaraz should still top the US Open. The odds of one of them winning are -450, implying an 82% probability.
The biggest challenger standing in the way of the Sinner-Alcaraz trilogy is 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic (+1200). The Serbian is on Alcaraz’s side of the draw as the 7-seed, and he’ll likely face American Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals if both reach that stage.
Djokovic still has some gas in the tank, but he’s lost in three straight Grand Slam semifinals and hasn’t played in a major final since winning the 2023 US Open.

Swiatek takes the favorite spot narrowly ahead of Aryna Sabalenka (+270). Swiatek experienced a brief lull in Grand Slams, failing to reach the final in four consecutive tournaments. But she seems to be back at the top of her game, winning Wimbledon and the Cincinnati Open in the lead-up to the US Open.
Sabelenka has been the favorite at each Grand Slam this year but has yet to claim one. The reigning US Open champion lost in both the Australian Open and French Open finals before getting bounced in the semifinals at Wimbledon by Amanda Anisimova. Sabalenka has won three of the last five hard-court Grand Slams.
Coco Gauff (+800) gives the United States its best opportunity of an American winner in both the men’s and women’s tournaments. The 21-year-old won the US Open in 2023 and took home the French Open this year, but she lost in Round 1 of Wimbledon in her last major appearance. Gauff also hasn’t played her best tennis lately, compiling a 5-4 record since winning at Roland Garros.
