Danielle Smith and the UCP seem to think that giving us $100 gas rebate is better for us than a 13 cent reduction in gas. That’s the equivalent of the Liberals telling us that we would get back more in climate rebates than we’d spend on green taxes. Is the UCP so myopic that they think that the only thing that Albertans need is a gas rebate? How about thinking of the overall picture, like the price of diesel being able to reduce transportation costs so that groceries, clothing and all manner of products transported by truck could see a reduction in price, not just the Albertan with a car.
