(BCN) — Bay Area professional women’s soccer team Bay Football Club is launching a new, all-girls youth soccer league, the team shared Tuesday.
The league aims to expand opportunities for young girls — particularly those from communities that have historically faced barriers to sports participation — to play soccer, according to a statement from Bay FC. It is expected to begin in 2026.
