A friend of Love Island USA’s JaNa Craig urged women to search their partners’ phones in the wake of JaNa’s split from Kenny Rodriguez.
Charmane Smith, who posted an Instagram carousel alongside “love of my life” JaNa, 28, just over one week ago, shared the warning via her Instagram Stories in the late hours of Tuesday, July 29.
The since-deleted post, which was viewed by Us Weekly prior to its removal, read, “Never spare a man … Dog them out babygirl,” and was shared just hours after JaNa posted her own Instagram Story that described the circumstances surrounding her recent breakup from Kenny, 24, as “terrible, disgusting and disappointing.”
Charmane’s post continued, “My advice for women in relationships: if you have access – go thru [sic] your man’s phone TODAY. Search keywords like “I don’t like black women, I thought I would get more money from this, I’m faking this relationship, going on the show would be for clout, I can’t wait to be done w this so I can f*** hella b*tches.”

The post then read, “You’ll thank me later,” before a second deleted Instagram Story, also viewed by Us, included one final line: “I don’t play about Jana!!!!!!”
Earlier on Tuesday, JaNa issued a warning of her own directly to Kenny, who dated JaNa for one year, in light of his public statement that addressed the pair’s split and labelled his recent days as “incredibly difficult.”
JaNa wrote in her post, “Stfu you manipulative liar. You not taking accountability and telling people the type of person you really are is insane to me!! My first statement was me being nice. Do not piss me off.”

Fellow Love Island season 6 star Leah Kateb also showed her support for JaNa, responding to JaNa’s warning via her own Instagram account that day. “Kenny, put a sock in it ChatGPT headass. Tell the truth for once! Racist, clout/money hungry and a scammer since DAY 1!!!! Tryna make it seem like it’s something it’s not,” Leah wrote.
JaNa broke her silence on her breakup from Kenny via her Instagram Story on Tuesday. “Hi my loves. Thank you for all your love & support. It means the world to me. As you know, Kenny and I no longer together,” she wrote at the time. “Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is. Discovering that someone you loved isn’t who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn’t been genuine since day one has been truly devastating.”
The confirmation came after fans of the series began speculating that JaNa and Kenny had broken up following the former couple’s unusual social media activity. JaNa began by unfollowing Kenny which seemed to spark other season 6 costars Serena Page and Leah Kateb following suit. Serena’s boyfriend, Kordell Beckham, and Leah’s partner, Miguel Harichi, also stopped following Kenny.
As for Kenny’s side of the story, his official Instagram Story statement landed online just moments after JaNa’s. It read, “I’ve been quietly sitting with a lot of emotions and doing my best to process everything privately. Breakups are never easy, especially in the public eye. Sometimes, despite how deeply you care for someone, you come to the hard truth that the relationship was not something that could last long-term.”
The statement continued, “I’ll always be grateful for the time we shared and the memories we created. I release this chapter with no ill will, only a hope that JaNa’s path forward brings her nothing but happiness.”
