Dewan, who rose to fame alongside Tatum, 45, in 2006’s Step Up, was a backup dancer for Janet Jackson before getting her big break. And it appears her children follow in her footsteps as Everly is an accomplished Irish step dancer who competes in events nationally.

Dewan, 44, sat next to Mark Consuelos on Tuesday, August 5, as a guest cohost of the ABC morning show — with her daughter Everly (a.k.a. Evie), 12, backstage before joining the audience.
“Been bringing this one to work with me since she was just 2 months old when we were filming Witches of East End,” Dewan shared alongside a photo of her and Evie embracing via Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
Dewan, who shares Evie with ex-husband Channing Tatum, also shared videos and other snaps from the girls’ special day, including a video of them dancing to Black Eyed Peas’ “Rock That Body” behind the scenes.

“I love brings your kids to work day @livekellyandmark,” The Rookie star captioned the clip.
Dewan also spoke about her “girls trip” with Evie to New York, telling Consuelos, 54, that they were enjoying time together — just the two of them.
“Shopping because, 12 year olds, we want to shop. That’s where we’re at right now,” Dewan said. “We’re SoHo shopping, we’re doing the ‘teen’ stores, which is, by the way, a nightclub. I don’t know if you’ve been into any teen stores lately — there’s a line to wait to get into the store.”

Dewan and Tatum were married for nine years before separating in 2018. They finalized their divorce in September 2024 after six years of negotiations.
Dewan is now engaged to actor Steve Kazee, with whom she shares daughter Rhiannon, 13 months, and son Callum, 5.
“I’d take this journey with you a million times over and over,” Dewan wrote of Tony winner Kazee, 49, on Father’s Day. “Thank you for being the one of one, most present father you are day after day. Through the good days, bad days, Feis days, chaotic days, late nights, fun filled amazing days… We all love you so much and you mean everything to us!!”

It appears their daughter Rhiannon is also a performer, with Dewan recently posting a video of herself dancing to Carl Carlton’s “She’s a Bad Mama Jama” while her little one showed off her own moves — baby belly included.
“Rhiannon you scene stealer,” Dewan captioned the post on Friday, August 1.
