Lamborghini doesn’t do subtle, and their latest “Few-Off” supercar proves it. Meet the Lamborghini Fenomeno, a limited run of just 29 cars built to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini Centro Stile. It’s not just a birthday present – it’s a full-blown manifesto of how the brand thinks hypercars should look, sound, and drive like.
At its core is the most powerful V12 engine Lamborghini has ever produced, paired with three electric motors for a combined punch of 1080 CV (that’s about 1065 horsepower). Despite all that muscle, the car weighs in at a relatively lean 3,905 pounds dry. It’s a hybrid setup, but not one designed for saving the planet – it’s about going faster. 0-62 mph arrives in just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed north of 217 mph. Impressive numbers, even by Lamborghini standards.
The Fenomeno is the first Lamborghini to show off the brand’s new “Hyperdesign” language, and it doesn’t hold back. Up front, oversized intakes gulp air like a race car, framed by sharp Y-shaped headlights. Its profile nods to the long-tail Essenza SCV12 motorsports car, while the rear looks like something ripped from a jet fighter, with vertical Y-lighting and a hexagonal exhaust port straight out of science fiction.
The Fenomeno rolls on carbon fiber rims with a single large lug nut. The turbine-inspired design looks like it’s in motion even when standing still. The car is also the first Lambo badged with the Italian automaker’s new logo. Of course, looks only tell half the story. The Fenomeno’s aero package is a masterclass in efficiency and downforce. The front splitter channels air into dual curtains, reducing drag while feeding the radiators. Doors double as conduits, directing flow into side intakes that reinterpret Lamborghini’s signature NACA scoops. Up top, a concave roof pushes air toward the scoop and back to a massive active rear wing shaped like the Greek letter omega. Every surface has a job, and that job is speed.
The car sports slick scissor-style aka billionaire doors, which open to reveal a cockpit befitting a fighter jet. You’ll find heaps of carbon fiber on the dash and doors, and a trio of screens with sharp, high-tech graphics for both driver and passenger. Bold accents bring the car’s exterior paint color inside the cabin.
Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program ensures every Fenomeno is built precisely to each buyer’s desires, with a wide variety of color and material options to choose from.
The Lamborghini Fenomeno is equal parts rolling sculpture and engineering experiment. It’s a true celebration of 21st-century Italian sports car design. With so few examples being built, most of us will never see one in person, but that’s kind of the point. For Lamborghini, exclusivity is as intoxicating as speed.
