Low vacancy, high rents continue to make Halifax hard for renters

A team of explorers led by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society are the first people to see on Sir Ernest Shackleton’s last ship since it sank in the Labrador Sea in 1962.

WCB Nova Scotia says the injury rate in the province is at a record low and is continuing to decline, enabling the organization to cut its rates by 15 per cent. 

The First Nation has long argued that it has a treaty right to commercially fish for lobster without federal permits based on the Peace and Friendship Treaties of 1760-61.
