According to AAA, Wednesday was expected to be the busiest travel day for drivers.
If you plan on driving on Thursday, expect more cars out on the road between 2 and 6 p.m. Also, be mindful of construction on highways, which could slow down traffic flow. The next busiest travel day is projected to be Sunday, July 6th.
AAA advises drivers to be out on the road before 11 a.m.
