PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Pittsfield will undergo several street projects this upcoming week, and residents are urged to use caution when navigating the affected areas.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be continuing its own construction in the city, marking pavement this week in preparation for line painting. This work will take place on North Street, South Street, and First Street.
MassDOT crews will also be performing utility underground work in the right of way on Charisma Drive, Roberta Road, and Eleanor Road.
This week, no roads will be implementing parking bans as a result of the street improvement projects. However, officials remind drivers to expect traffic delays and to take alternate routes if necessary.
This schedule may change depending on the weather throughout this week. Updates can be found on the city’s Facebook page.
