SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Police are investigating a stabbing in San Francisco’s Mission District on Friday afternoon. There is no suspect description yet and no arrests have been made at the time.

San Francisco police arrived at 4:57 p.m. near Mission and 16th streets where they located a victim suffering from a stab wound. They were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
San Francisco police said they later learned that the stabbing happened a short distance away in the area of Capp and 16th streets. The motive and the circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet clear.
