WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A service member of the 104th Fighter Wing was ejected from an F-15 aircraft at Barnes Air National Guard Base in Westfield on Tuesday.
A video circulating on social media shows a military fighter jet traveling on the tarmac, with the tail code identified as Massachusetts. As the plane moves down the runway, a person can be seen off to the side working to stand up.

Media relations for the 104th Fighter Wing at Barnes Air National Guard Base told 22News that at around 2:05 p.m. on Tuesday, a ground mishap occurred on the flightline involving two members. One of the crew members was ejected from an F-15D Eagle aircraft and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. No injuries were reported.
All flight operations were suspended for 36 hours and have since resumed. More information will be released upon completion of the investigation. The identities of the two service members are being withheld pending the investigation, per Air Force policy.
