Weezer announced a new North American tour Thursday, which includes a stop this September at Boston’s TD Garden.
“Weezer: The Gathering” is a 32-city arena tour, with special guests The Shins and Silversun Pickups. It is slated to make a stop at TD Garden on Sept. 27.
The band has sold over 35 million records worldwide, with hits like “Island In The Sun,” “Go Away,” “Buddy Holly” and more. The tour announcements comes as Weezer is set to release a new song, “Shine Again,” on April 1 from their upcoming, still-untitled album, which has yet to set a release date.
Tickets for all shows will be available starting with a Citi, Verizon, Mastercard, American Express, and Weezer fan club presale beginning on Tuesday, March 31, at 10 a.m. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at Weezer.com.
