Two people have died after a fire at a home in Nashua, New Hampshire, on Tuesday.
Chief Steve Buxton said firefighters were called to the home on Orange Street around 3:20 a.m.
Buxton confirmed two people died in the fire. The victims have not been publicly identified at this point.
Images from the scene show significant damage to the top floor and roof of the building. Buxton said the heaviest fire was on the second floor. There is significant fire, smoke and water damage to the entire building.
The building has eight units, and multiple people are displaced. The American Red Cross was called in to help.
The state fire marshal’s office has been called in to investigate the cause.
