A teen was shot in Jackson Park Wednesday evening, according to Chicago police.
The boy, 17, was in a verbal altercation with another person in the park in the 1900 block of East Hayes Drive at 6:47 p.m. when the other person shot him, police said.
He took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center where he was listed in fair condition.
No one is in custody.
