Edo LG Polls: Vote Counting Begins After Council Election

Residents across Edo State are awaiting the collation and announcement of the final results from the local government elections held on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

More than one million voters are believed to have participated across 18 local government areas, 192 wards and 4,519 polling units, with candidates from 12 political parties contesting various positions. Austin Azu reports.
