Help wanted: Organizing a protest against Bill C-22

[Bill C-22, the "Lawful Access" Act](https://www.parl.ca/DocumentViewer/en/45-1/bill/C-22/first-reading), has been widely panned by privacy experts, security experts, industry leaders, and even the government's own Privacy Commissioner.

It is currently being forced through SECU by the Liberals (with significant pushback by MPs of every other party) without regard for proper procedure: MPs are being forced to deliberate clause-by-clause without witness briefs because translators aren't available and the Liberals do not want to wait. They have stated the intention to sign this bill into law **in less than two weeks**

There's a [petition](https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-7416) circulating, but it probably won't be enough on its own. People have been writing emails to the [SECU](https://www.ourcommons.ca/Committees/en/SECU), but so far they've fallen on deaf ears.

I'm hoping to find people who care enough to help organize something that's harder to ignore: an actual protest on Parliament Hill. I am willing to work hard, but I recognize the value of experience.

I have no intention of getting rowdy or breaking any laws, but pushback needs to be visible and so I feel a protest is necessary.
