Watching a story about the numerous downtown restaurants closing due to construction is not surprising, considering the sheer volume of construction projects happening simultaneously. Having recently cycled downtown, I had to deal with detour after detour in all directions, thinking the magnitude of all the construction will clearly be the destruction of many businesses.
