Rescue operations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, remain ongoing six days after a five-storey building collapsed, leaving residents and emergency responders searching for possible survivors beneath the rubble.
So far, four people have been rescued alive while one body has been recovered. However, authorities say several others may still be trapped, as rescue efforts have been slowed by the lack of heavy-duty equipment needed to safely demolish the remaining lift shaft structure at the site.
