Saskatchewan conditions ‘favourable’ for fighting wildfires, SPSA says
There are 56 wildfires actively burning in Saskatchewan. Of those, 41 began in the last week, the province’s safety agency told reporters in a news conference Tuesday.
Farmers who were waiting on the sidelines for the flood waters to recede are now getting out into their fields. But spring seeding is now way behind for many.
Saskatoon is suffering from a pothole outbreak this spring with more than 4,000 recorded as of June 3. Leading to 338 claims, double the 10-year average and it’s costing drivers.
