The Dallas Stars and general manager Jim Nill agreed to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Tuesday.
Nill, who’s won the Jim Gregory General Manager of the Year Award for three straight seasons starting in 2022-23, was in the final campaign of his previous contract.
The 67-year-old owns a 549-346-125 record since becoming the Stars GM in April 2013. Nill has guided the club to the playoffs eight times, including three straight Western Conference Finals (2023-2025) and a 2020 Stanley Cup Final appearance.
Dallas (44-18-12) sits second in the Western Conference heading into Tuesday’s action.
