When it comes to the Duggars, the more members, the merrier — which is why some fans have a hard time keeping track of the famous family.
After tying the knot in July 1984, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar (née Ruark) welcomed a total of 19 children, including two sets of twins, and the couple bestowed all of their little ones with J-monikers. Jim Bob and Michelle are now grandparents to more than 35 kids.
“I really know that our relationship with God and our close walk with Christ is what holds our marriage together,” Michelle exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2020 of her relationship with Jim Bob. “That’s the glue that started our relationship years ago. And I know because of our faith, that is the solid foundation that we have.”

Joshua and Anna Duggar
The firstborn Duggar arrived in 1988. Josh married Anna in 2008, and they share seven children: Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella and Madyson.
In April 2021, Josh was arrested in Arkansas, pleading not guilty to receiving and possessing child pornography. Josh was sentenced to 151 months behind bars in May 2022, with the Supreme Court denying Josh’s request for an appeal in June 2024.
Jana Duggar
Michelle and Jim Bob welcomed their first daughter in 1990. Jana remained single into her 30s, before quietly dating Stephen Wissmann. The pair filed for a marriage license in August 2024 days before they wed. They live in Nebraska, where they are renovating a house together.
Shortly after celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Jana and her husband announced in August 2025 that they’re expecting a baby. The couple welcomed son Archie in December 2025.
“We took some time to settle into our new rhythm before sharing this sweet news 🤍,” Jana wrote via Instagram alongside photos of the baby. “Archie Gerald Wissmann arrived on December 30, 2025, and our hearts have been completely changed. We’re soaking in these early days, full of love, wonder, and so much gratitude.”
John-David and Abbie Duggar
Jana arrived with twin brother, John-David. He married Abbie in 2018. Eight months after their nuptials, the pair announced that they were expecting their first child, a baby girl. “I just hope she’s as pretty as her mommy,” the dad-to-be said in TLC’s August 2019 reveal video. “I know she will be.”
The couple welcomed Grace Annette in January 2020, telling Us exclusively at the time: “Our lives have changed forever with the arrival of our baby girl. She’s is a beautiful gift from God. We are so blessed the Lord has given her to us. It’s still surreal to know that we are really parents but it’s a great new adventure that we are excited to take on together.”
John-David and Abbie welcomed baby No. 2, a baby boy named Charlie, in September 2022. Their third daughter arrived in January 2026.
Jill and Derick Dillard
Jill, born in 1991, married Derick in 2014. They share sons Israel and Samuel. In October 2021, the pair revealed that Jill had suffered a miscarriage, writing via Instagram: “We love and miss you River Bliss!” Four months after the pregnancy loss, the Counting On alums wrote in a blog post that their “rainbow baby [is] due July 2022.” They welcomed son Frederick “Freddy” Michael on July 7, 2022. Jill suffered another pregnancy loss in April 2024 with the stillbirth of their daughter, Isla Marie.
Jessa and Ben Seewald
Jessa joined the Duggar family in 1992. She and Ben tied the knot in 2014 and welcomed son Spurgeon one year later. He became a big brother in 2017 when Henry arrived. The Counting On star gave birth to daughter Ivy Jane in May 2019. Us confirmed in February 2021 that Jessa was pregnant with her fourth child after previously suffering a miscarriage. Their daughter Fern arrived five months later. Nearly one year after another pregnancy loss, Jessa gave birth to a baby boy in December 2023.
Jessa confirmed in March 2025 that she was pregnant and expecting baby No. 6 with Ben later that summer. The pair welcomed son Edward in August 2025.
Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo
Jinger, born in 1993, married the former professional soccer player in 2016. Their daughter Felicity was born in 2018. The couple announced in May 2020 that their second child was on the way. Evangeline arrived in November 2020.
In October 2024, Jinger announced she and Jeremy are expecting their third baby. Their son, Finn, was born in March 2025.
Joseph and Kendra Duggar
Joseph was born in 1995. He married Kendra in 2017, and they welcomed a honeymoon baby, Garrett, the next year. Kendra revealed in April 2019 that she was pregnant with their second child. Addison Renee arrived in November 2019. Nine months later, the couple announced Kendra’s third pregnancy. The couple were expecting a “tie-breaker” second daughter, they told E! News in November 2020. Brooklyn arrived in February 2021, followed by son Justus in 2022.
In March 2026, Joseph was arrested and charged in Arkansas with lewd and lascivious behavior involving molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older. Joseph was accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl in 2020.
Josiah and Lauren Duggar
Josiah arrived in 1996. Eight months after marrying Lauren in 2018, he announced that she had suffered a miscarriage. In May 2019, they revealed they had a rainbow baby on the way. Bella Milagro arrived on November 8, 2019, her name meaning “beautiful miracle.”
The following week, the couple told Us exclusively: “She has already brought so much joy in our lives. We are obsessed with her adorable smiles. It’s hard to imagine life without her!”
The couple have since welcomed kids Daisy and Ezra.
Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth
Born in 1997, Joy-Anna married Austin in 2017. Their son, Gideon, was born the following year. In April 2019, they announced they were expecting their second little one.
Three months later, Joy-Anna and Austin revealed that the pregnant star had suffered a miscarriage. The pair named their unborn daughter Annabell Elise. The couple announced in March 2020 that they were expecting a baby girl. She arrived five months later, and the couple announced her name, Evelyn Mae, the following week. In October 2022, Joy-Anna revealed she was pregnant and expecting baby No. 3. The Forsyths announced the arrival of their baby boy — Gunner James — in May 2023.
Jedidiah Duggar
Born in 1998, Jed married Katey Nakatsu in April 2021. The couple made headlines with their pregnancy announcement five months later, with some deeming it “insensitive.”
“She tested positive, but not for Covid. 😉,” Jed wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of him and his wife holding a sign that read, “And then there were 3. Baby Duggar Spring ’22.”
In May 2022, the duo announced the birth of their son, Truett Oliver, nicknamed True.
The couple welcomed back-to-back babies, announcing the arrival of daughter Nora in June 2023. In July 2024, the couple revealed they are expecting twin girls, who were born in January 2025.
Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar
Jeremiah was born in 1998 with his twin Jed. He married wife Hannah in March 2022.

Jason joined the Duggar family in 2000. He confirmed his relationship with Maddie in May 2024, proposing the following August. Jason and Maddie got married in October 2024 in the bride’s native Tennessee.

Michelle and Jim Bob welcomed Justin in 2002. Us broke the news in September 2020 that Justin had started courting Claire Spivey. He and the Texas native got engaged in November 2020. The twosome tied the knot in February 2021.
