The Montreal Canadiens and forward Kirby Dach have agreed to a one-year, $3.6-million contract, the team announced Thursday.
Dach, 25, scored eight goals and tallied 15 points over 37 games with the Habs last season.
The No. 3 pick of the 2019 draft has played four of his seven NHL seasons in Montreal, scoring 32 goals and adding 45 assists in 154 games.
Dach played his first three campaigns with the Chicago Blackhawks before being traded to Montreal in 2022 for a first- and third-round pick.
