The New York Yankees are trading right-hander Camilo Doval to the Pittsburgh Pirates for two prospects, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Doval, 29, owns a 4.54 ERA and 8.8 K/9 in 39 2/3 innings this season with the Yankees.
The former San Francisco Giants closer has notched 109 career saves and could help fortify the backend of the Pirates bullpen as they push for a playoff spot.
