A 23-year-old man arrested Monday after police said they responded to a stabbing is now facing charges of assault with a weapon (a knife) causing bodily harm and possessing a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public peace.

It’s only been a week since the United States celebrated the nation’s semi-quincentennial, which included – among many, many other things – the issuing of a massive, almost overwhelming amount of new postage.
